Why finance? Real estate is actually a specialized area of finance. Since the real estate field is pretty broad, our program is designed to give you flexibility in selecting courses that fit your goals. Possible careers include mortgage banking, real estate development or investment, real estate valuation and assessment, government, as well as real estate sales and property management.

Pursuing your Tennessee Affiliate Broker license? This degree allows you to be exempt from the required 60 hour basic principles of real estate class.

The real estate industry is ever evolving, and it's important to stay up-to-date on current laws and trends. This program is designed for those starting out in real estate and experienced professionals. Save time and money while gaining core skills in the same courses as the degree program without having to complete a 4-year degree.

Complete the program in just 6 courses, on-campus or fully online to fit your schedule. Courses available at undergraduate and graduate levels. Completion requires 18 credit hours in the following courses: Real Estate Principles, Business Finance, Real Estate Law, Real Estate Finance, Real Estate Appraisal, Principles of Property Management and Real Estate Investment.

The program is independent of any University of Memphis degree program. This program is not eligible for financial aid and no transfer credit will be accepted for these six courses and financial aid is not available. The Professional Real Estate Document of Completion is not posted on the student's University transcript.
